should have done this years ago...

Thinking I was off on another world adventure, when signing up for diving I meet a new dive buddy friend. With conversation leading to employment, I showed him my past website and a few pictures I had in my camera. With Mark being an art buyer and collector himself, he is amazed with what I've created when seeing my pictures, mostly from what he referred to as "junk" or as I call "matter" recycled or reclaimed materials but disappointed with my website. With Mark having great computer skills and knowledge of building a website, he offers to help... Over a few cold ones, and aggravation on my part, from once again what I would be a relaxing holiday, we begin.

R & R in Viet Nam... couldn't resist

Planned on a few relaxing weeks visiting friends and diving. Seeing trees being trimmed with artistic shaped pieces falling, my mind began creating the perfect base for a door I recently created. With laying the door flat or parallel to the ground, adding the legs, wa laa, I have created a beautiful new piece of functional art. Now, using the same panels I can create any shaped piece of furniture from recycled material.

After a days diving in Viet Nam with a few rice beers.

Cruising about on my bicycle, seeing stacks of rotting lumber, many more designs come into thought. Wishing it was simpler to get this material back to my collections and studio but know due to it's rotting it would be difficult to get through customs.

And to think this was a holiday vacation. I'm feeling like I'm back in elementary school while learning what I have refused to learn for the past 20 years with computers, the Iphone, unloading, downloading, bla bla bla. This is work! My gardening is relaxation and meditation.
